I put the families who attended Family Night @ the Library to work decorating the library for Christmas. They created beautiful handmade ornaments for the library Christmas tree and made paper chains for decorating the book shelves.
Our tree turned out beautifully and I know everyone who visits the library will feel the joy that went into the making of each and every ornament. Smiles were on the faces of everyone during the evening of creativity. One of my little friends even took over the iPad in order to take a picture of my smile.
Thank you to all who came out to help decorate the library.
Next week, December 6th, Santa will be coming to Kinkeade to visit. We will not be having an activity that evening. I do not want to take away from all of the activities that will be going on at school that evening. There will be a movie, cookies, and pictures.
Lifetouch will be at the school taking pictures. You can purchase packages of pictures, which range from $10.00 - $45.00, with cash or a check on sight, or using a credit card online. If you don't have access to a computer to make a credit card purchase, you are welcome to come to the library to purchase picture packages online.
