Visit from Santa

Wow! We had a 41 families visit the library for Family Night @ the Library last Thursday night! Maybe Santa needs to come to Kinkeade every Thursday night! (I don't think that is possible. He is pretty busy at this time of the year especially.)

It was wonderful to see so many new families in the library. I hope they continue to come back each week to see what is going on at the Kinkeade Library. I set up a digital photo album to show all of the pictures I have been taking each week. I saw a lot of parents viewing the pictures. I think they were very surprised at all of the fun they have been missing out on each week.

Like I said earlier, Santa visited Kinkeade this past week during Family Night @ the Library. He was visiting so families could purchase photo packages as a fundraiser. There was also a movie and cookies in the cafeteria. So a lot of fun things were happening at school on Thursday night and I am so excited so many came into the library. We had at least ten new library cards issued.

Santa was a little too busy to come visit me in the library and I was so busy in the library I didn't get to go down to see him. Ms. Dansby shared a picture of her son, Dylan with Santa so I could include at least one picture of him.

We even got to welcome three new Star Families during all of the excitement. Mrs. Baker (our school principal) has been anxiously waiting for her daughter to return to Texas so she could have her picture taken and added to our Star Wall. She was all smiles when Amanda came to Family Night @ the Library!
